A journey encompassing the museums of Ashgabat, modern shopping centers, the eternal fire of Darvaza and its craters, the ancient ruins of Merv, as well as the unique nature of the Koytendag Mountains with their Dinosaur footprints.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ashgabat
Arrival at Ashgabat International Airport. Meet your driver and local guide. Transfer to hotel. City tour of Ashgabat: Monument of Neutrality, National Museum of Turkmenistan, Parthian Fortresses of Nisa. Visit Arkach Shopping Center. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Ashgabat – Darvaza (Gates of Hell)
In the morning, visit the Gypjak Memorial Complex. Drive to Darvaza, stopping at Yerbent village en route. Explore the burning Darvaza gas crater (“Gates of Hell”) along with the nearby water and mud craters. Overnight in a nomadic yurt camp.

Day 3: Darvaza – Mary & Bayramaly
Drive to Mary and Bayramaly. Arrival and rest, then visit Ancient Merv. Explore the historical sites of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to railway station. Overnight train from Mary/Bayramaly to Kerki, Turkmenabat.

Day 4: Kerki – Koytendag Mountains (Dinosaur Plateau)
Morning arrival at Kerki train station. Transfer to hotel. After rest, visit Koytendag Nature Reserve, explore caves and the Dinosaur Plateau. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Kerki – Ashgabat
Transfer to Kerki International Airport. Domestic flight to Ashgabat. Arrival. End of the tour.
