Itinerary

Day 1: Ashgabat
Arrival at Ashgabat International Airport. You will be greeted by your driver and local tour guide. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a city tour of Ashgabat including the Monument of Independence, the “Halk Hakydasy” memorial complex, and the Parthian Fortresses of Nisa. Later, visit Ashgabat Mall. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Ashgabat – Yerbent village – Darvaza
This morning, visit the Alem Indoor Ferris Wheel and the Constitution Monument. Drive to Darvaza, stopping at Yerbent village en route. Arrive at the famous burning gas crater, Darvaza (“Gates of Hell”), and explore the surrounding craters of Gas, Water, and Mud. Overnight at a nomadic yurt camp in the Karakum desert.

Day 3: Darvaza – Ashgabat – Arkadag – Ahal
Return to Ashgabat. Visit the Gypjak Memorial Complex, explore the new city of Arkadag, and discover Kow-ata underground lake and cave in the Kopetdag mountains. End the day with a visit to the traditional Nohur village in the mountains. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Ashgabat
Check out from your hotel and transfer to Ashgabat International Airport for your onward international flight. End of the tour.
